Thank you for visiting my Web page. Since it's important that I focus all my attention on you and your family when you're in my office, this Web page gives me a wonderful opportunity to tell you a bit about myself.
I was born at the Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Medical Center, and it was the Kaiser Permanente pediatrician I saw throughout my childhood who inspired me to become a physician myself. I’ve always lived in Southern California and wouldn't dream of living anywhere else. I have a beautiful wife, two amazing kids, and an English bulldog.
I’m a general pediatrician, with an extra three years of subspecialty training in pediatric infectious disease. My infectious disease training and my degree in public health have given me a unique and invaluable perspective, as so many typical pediatric visits are due to infections—ranging from the common cold to the diseases we work so hard to vaccinate against.
While I thoroughly enjoy being at work, I also cherish my time off. My wife and I love to ballroom dance, and I've become an expert at losing golf balls. I attempt to stay in shape by running and playing tennis several times per week. To relax, I enjoy listening to opera music and watching movies and television—though not more than the one to two hours per day recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics!
