About me

Welcome to my Web page. Here you will find my credentials and other information about me. I hope this will help you get to know me better. I look forward to seeing you.

Biography

I grew up in Oxnard and was raised by a family that had a lot of nurses. They all encouraged me to become a physician, and now I am the first one in the family. I had the same family physician throughout childhood, and I wanted to be just like him. I am a proud USC Trojan and continue to volunteer at USC as a mentor. I went to Chicago for medical school but realized that even though it is one of the greatest cities in the country, I am definitely partial to Southern California weather! It is also important for me to be close to my family members, who still live in Oxnard.

About my practice

My college major was health promotion and disease prevention. My aim is to work with you to meet your health goals. In general, I communicate with my patients regarding lab results and studies via mail, email, or telephone, whether the results are normal or abnormal. I believe normal results are just as important as abnormal results. I also believe excellent health care involves an active partnership. I encourage my patients to be very proactive about their health. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call or email my office. Whether you are a child, an adolescent, an adult, or a senior, I look forward to working with you.

How I thrive

I take pride in my work and make the most of my time when I’m not at work. I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and son; they both keep me very busy. I love to snowboard, stay fit, cook, and discover great restaurants. I’m also determined to travel the world!
