About me
Hello! I’m excited to have this chance to introduce myself and tell you about my pediatric practice. I look forward to working with you and your children and providing your young ones with high-quality, comprehensive health care.
Biography
I’m a native Southern Californian who grew up in the San Fernando Valley. I graduated from Chaminade College Preparatory School. I went to USC for college, medical school, and my pediatric residency. By training in a predominately Spanish-speaking community, I was able to acquire the language skills to treat both English and Spanish speakers. After I completed my training in pediatrics, I moved back to the San Fernando Valley and started working at Kaiser Permanente in Panorama City. I moved to the Mission Hills Medical Offices when it opened in June 2009. Currently, I live in the Porter Ranch area with my husband and two daughters. I always knew I wanted to be a physician, but having two children of my own has made me love being a pediatrician more than I ever thought I could!
About my practice
I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente among my great colleagues and members. As a pediatrician, I have the unique opportunity to help shape the futures of my members. Learning about and leading healthy lifestyles as children will help them grow to be happy, healthy adults. My goal is to address any questions or concerns you may have at every well-child or sick visit. I want to know what makes your child feel happy and comfortable, and I’ll do my best to help them achieve optimal health.
How I thrive
I make sure I practice what I preach to my members and their families. I do my best to lead by example and love with my whole heart. I try to keep my family healthy with a well-balanced diet and regular exercise. We love outdoor activities like running, riding our mountain bikes, hiking, and waterskiing. We take our daughters on all of our adventures. I swam competitively throughout my youth and I have completed several triathlons on my own as well as on a team. I have run many half-marathons and one full marathon. Having dance parties with my daughters definitely rates as my favorite activity of all!
