About me

Hello there! This is Dr. Kim, internal medicine physician at Kaiser Permanente in Baldwin Park. Thank you for visiting my Web page! I am glad to have this opportunity to share information about myself and present my credentials. I hope that this Web page will give a little insight about me so that you can get to know me.

Biography

I was originally born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, but raised most of my life in Texas. Ever since my first medical mission trip to Nairobi, Kenya, in middle school, I have wanted to become a doctor to help people care for their health. I received my undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin and went to medical school in Georgia. Then I moved to Michigan for my internal medicine residency training and decided to begin my career in Southern California, where most of my friends and relatives currently reside.

About my practice

In my practice, I use a team approach/partnership, medicine based on evidence and current research, and preventive care to help members stay healthy. Medicine is constantly evolving, and my goal is to stay actively involved in providing up-to-date health care for you. I am here to listen to your concerns about your health and treat you to the best of my abilities as I would treat my own family.

How I thrive

I am a big advocate for mental health wellness and importance of keeping a great work-life balance in our lives to help us thrive. I love to play and watch team sports such as basketball, football, and soccer. I also enjoy listening to and playing musical instruments (piano, violin, drums, guitar). Last but not least, I love to travel.
