Hi, and welcome to my Web page.
My family immigrated to the States when I was 5 years old. Growing up in Northern California, I went through the public school system. As I had extended family in Southern California, UCLA became my college of choice. Through hard work and perseverance, I was able to get accepted to Pittsburgh Medical School. After enduring four blistering East Coast winters, I decided sunny California was where I belonged. While at UC Irvine Pediatrics, I was introduced to Kaiser Permanente. Upon completion of residency, I began my career with Kaiser Permanente. I’ve been here ever since. I couldn’t be happier.
It’s been said to cure a disease takes a smart man, but to prevent a disease takes a genius. I try to approach medicine with this mindset. With all the advances in medicine in diagnosing and treating diseases, the most important factors in keeping children healthy remain, in my opinion, 1) timely childhood vaccinations, 2) healthy eating, and 3) active lifestyle.
To do good work requires balance. When I am not working, I enjoy the company of friends and family, cooking, amateur photography, travel, and playing sports such as basketball, tennis, table tennis, badminton, and skiing.
