Welcome to my Web page. I no longer practice medicine in the traditional office setting. But if you or a loved one ever need care on a longer-term basis—such as in a skilled nursing facility, hospice, or at home—I hope I will be given the opportunity to care for you. If you require my services, there are often many changes in your life that we can work through together.
I’ve been proud to be a physician with Kaiser Permanente in Anaheim since I completing my residency in 1979. I’ve been fortunate to be here from the very beginning of my career, and I’ve grown professionally and personally—just as Orange County has grown. My career has gone through many changes over the past nearly 30 years, and I feel that my current practice is the most rewarding to me. This means I get to be of service to you at what can be a very stressful time in your life.
My practice is now limited to post-acute care outside of the usual medical office or hospital setting. I practice in teams of different sizes, whether in skilled nursing facilities or in the home for hospice or home health members. The team may include fellow physicians or teams of medical social workers, nurses, and chaplains—all of whom give valuable input in developing a plan to best serve our members needs. I am currently board-certified in internal medicine, geriatrics, and hospice-palliative medicine. I’m a certified medical director for post-acute care and hospice care.
I try to lead a healthy lifestyle and enjoy watching my son grow into a strong, independent young man. I try to practice what I teach by exercising, eating properly, and taking time for my family and myself.
