Welcome to my Web page. Hi, my nickname is KC. I am very pleased to have an opportunity to share a little about myself.
I was born in South Korea, but I tell people that I am from the suburbs of Atlanta, since that is where I spent a good chunk of my childhood. I bounced around a bit around the country after high school, but eventually settled in Southern California. My interest in medicine stemmed from an early curiosity about the working of the human body. The pursuit of that interest gradually led to becoming an orthopedic surgeon. I have been happily married to my lovely wife since 2007, and we have two wonderful children who bring us unbelievable amount of joy. We try to treasure every moment we have with them right now with the understanding that they will soon be teenagers!
The goal of my practice is to maintain or restore the human body so that patients can lead active and fulfilling lives.
I try to always maintain a positive outlook on life. I'm constantly reassessing to see what activities are genuinely joyful or valuable in my life, and I try to pursue those interests as much I can.
