About me
Welcome to my Web page. I hope as you navigate this page that you can learn a little about me. Choosing a pediatrician for your precious little ones can be a stressful experience, and I hope this page brings you a sense of familiarity before we meet. I always look forward to meeting new families.
Biography
Born and raised in Southern California, I've wanted to be a doctor since kindergarten. My love of science and desire to help families heal made pediatrics a natural fit for me. I did my pre-med training at UCLA, attended medical school at UC Irvine, and completed my pediatric residency at Kaiser Permanente. I have a great husband and 4 vibrant children. I love Broadway musicals, concerts, and immersing myself in Southern California's wonderful ethnic culture and arts.
About my practice
I see newborns to teenagers up to the age of 18. You'll notice a computer in every exam room; this helps me go over your health record more easily with you. I think of myself as your partner in health and well-being. I want to help you and your family through life's ups and downs. My practice style draws from the latest pediatric medicine recommendations, coupled with my own experiences as a parent myself.
How I thrive
I believe in the importance of health in the mind, body, and spirit. I stay well by striking a good balance between work and quality time with my family and friends. I have a strong spiritual base and enjoy involvement in my local church. I love taking my children to the Huntington Library, museums, and the local park. In 2014, I ran my first half-marathon with Kaiser Permanente colleagues. This led to running the Los Angeles full marathon the following year! Running and other forms of physical fitness are important for my overall well-being and I am excited to share this passion with all members. An introvert at heart, I love quiet time with my family and a great book to read when given the chance. My children play a lot of sports, so I am often at the sidelines cheering them on. Finally, I enjoy community involvement by volunteering with my children's school PTA.
