Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. Here you will find information about my credentials and other details about my practice. I am very pleased to introduce myself and look forward to helping manage your physical well-being.
I was born, raised, and educated in Manila, Philippines. After my residency and fellowship training in New York City, I moved with my family to California to practice at Kaiser Permanente in Riverside. The year-round mild climate that Southern California provides suits our easygoing lifestyle. We enjoy going to the beach, biking, skiing, and running.
About my practice
Cancer medicine is an ever-growing field and requires a multidisciplinary approach. It not only involves oncologists but also surgeons, pharmacists, nurses, and social workers to provide better care to our patients. We have weekly cancer conferences and make treatment recommendations. We address not just the disease but also the person as a whole. We offer medicine based on current research and best evidence, and our goal is to deliver high-quality care. We also have support groups and seminars for our patients.
How I thrive
Preventive care, proper nutrition, and regular exercise are among the most important components of a healthy lifestyle. Running has helped me cope with the daily life stressors. I have become an avid runner since I joined Kaiser Permanente and have run several marathons, including the prestigious Boston Marathon.
