I was born in Taiwan. I have lived and worked with people in Taiwan, the Caribbean, Utah, Wyoming, Florida, New York, Texas, and California. I have been educated by experience in the different ways of communicating to people in regard to their cultural background. I also speak Mandarin and Taiwanese fluently, which has proven incredibly useful in the hospital.
I believe in honest and straightforward communication with members. I completed my neurology residency at the University of Texas in Houston and my clinical neurophysiology fellowship and movement disorders fellowship at USC. My training in the prestigious medical center was intense but rewarding. My special interest is in Parkinson’s disease. I have training in deep brain stimulation to help members who do not have good response to medication.
I live well by spending time with my family and friends. I love teamwork with my colleagues. I play sports. I like to go outside and be physical because so much of my time is spent working. It is important to find a balance between work and life.
