Welcome to my Web page. I am a gastroenterologist and have been working here in Ventura for over 20 years. I feel fortunate to be working at Kaiser Permanente.
I grew up in Los Angeles and have been in Southern California my entire life. I went to undergraduate school and medical school at UCLA. I did my residency, chief residency, and gastroenterology fellowship at USC. I moved to Ventura in 1987, and I love it here. Ventura has a small-town atmosphere but is close enough to Los Angeles when the big city beckons. I am married and have two sons.
My practice is devoted to gastroenterology. My team includes my nurse and a physician assistant. Some of the problems we take care of include colon cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, ulcer disease, and liver disease.
As much as possible, I try to keep a balanced life. I try to exercise nearly every day. Other hobbies include reading and attending movies. As my sons were growing up, I always thought that participating in their activities was my biggest hobby. I am proud to say that both boys are Eagle Scouts and a lot of that time was spent camping and hiking with the Scouts.
