About me

Biography

I grew up near Calgary in Alberta, Canada. I met my wife while working in New York. She grew up in Southern California, and we returned here so I could attend medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona. I then completed my residency training with the Kaiser Permanente Orange County Family Medicine Residency Program. The health care and resources available for members in Kaiser Permanente drew me to train and subsequently practice here. I consider myself fortunate to be a part of this medical group and to have my family be members of this health plan.  

About my practice

I am a big proponent of preventive medicine. This is one of the reasons I chose to become an osteopathic physician and specialize in family medicine. I believe in treating members the same way I would want my own family to be treated. I believe mutual trust and partnering with members is essential to successfully managing your health. This includes establishing treatment plans that you and I can both agree on.  

How I thrive

I thrive by spending time with my amazing wife and our 2 beautiful children. We like to stay active and spend as much time outdoors as possible. We enjoy camping, traveling, skiing, hiking, and of course, going to the beach. I’m hoping to find some time to get back into playing hockey also. Our dog, a German shorthaired pointer, also keeps us active.
