Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice.
Originally from Los Angeles, I am a board certified, fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeon competent in all aspects of surgical and cosmetic dermatology. I have been practicing Mohs surgery (microscopically controlled surgery) at Kaiser Permanente since 2004, and I could not be happier with my practice.
My main passion is the surgical treatment of facial skin cancers. My practice in Los Angeles is quite busy but always exciting. We utilize a team approach to treating facial skin cancers; I often work together with my colleagues who specialize in head and neck surgery, plastic surgery, and ophthalmology. I also serve as Chief of the Dermatology Department (since 2009), and I was the Program Director of our Dermatology Residency Program for five years (from 2010-2015).
My hobbies include running, weight training, collecting rare Air Jordan sneakers, and music. If you see me as a patient, don't be surprised if I tell you about a recent golf outing (I tend to only mention the good rounds). We have quite an extensive music collection in our procedure room, and requests are always welcomed and encouraged.
