Where I practice
Welcome! I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician and as a physician leader at Kaiser Permanente.
Having been born and bred in Southern California, I attended UCLA and graduated from its School of Medicine in 1991. After that, I entered a three-year residency in family medicine at Kaiser Permanente’s Los Angeles Medical Center. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 1996 and worked at Downey Medical Center. In 1998, I became involved in physician leadership. I’m fortunate to be able to serve our members as both a physician and a leader who is working to ensure we deliver high-quality care.
About my practice
As a family physician, I value building strong relationships with my patients and their families. My desire is to be a life coach so I can help my patients set and accomplish their goals. I strongly believe that it takes a complete health care team to meet a patient’s needs. My team consists of my medical assistant, nurse practitioners, and complete care managers. You may hear from one of them to encourage healthy living or remind you about lab tests. With my training in family medicine, I’m able to care for most medical needs. I can also help guide you through the multitude of resources available here at Kaiser Permanente. Please feel free to contact my office by email.
How I thrive
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente’s emphasis on staying healthy in mind, body, and spirit, and I try to live it every day of my life. To help create a life-work balance, I exercise three times a week. I seek rejuvenation through frequent trips with my partner and family. At the end of the day, I look forward to hugging my beagle. I let my creative energies flow thru skiing and photography. It is through all these activities that I rediscover the beauty of our life experiences. With this in mind, I hope I can be your coach in discovering what will make you thrive!
