Hello and welcome to my Web page.
After growing up in Northern California, I moved east for education. Both my undergraduate and medical degrees were earned at Penn State University, followed by orthopedic surgery residency training at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. After experiencing many cold Eastern and Midwestern winters, I was fortunate to return to California to train in the Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery Fellowship Program at LAC+USC Hospital. I am now happy to be practicing in West Los Angeles with a wonderful mix of members, staff, and fellow physicians.
While I do work in most areas of general orthopedic surgery, the focus of my practice is hand and upper extremity surgery. I try to keep abreast of recent updates and developments in my chosen field, while still maintaining a fairly conservative approach to providing care.
Having lived in Northern California and having spent many years in the eastern half of our country, my family and I are now happy to call Southern California home. The combination of beautiful weather, outdoor activities, and cultural diversity make for a very satisfying environment in which to live and work.
