Where I practice
Hello! I am very happy to have this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I am a pediatric orthopedic surgeon and I see members at both the Fontana and Ontario medical centers.
I grew up in Costa Mesa. I attended Mater Dei High School, where I played football and volleyball all four years, and was a member of the 1996 National Championship football team. I attended college at Oregon State University for one year; however, I quickly realized how much I missed Southern California, so I returned to finish college at UC Irvine. I obtained my medical degree from the UC Irvine School of Medicine. I completed my orthopedic surgery residency training at UCLA. After residency, I completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery in Wilmington, Delaware. However, once again, I could not stay away from my home, so I made my way back, where I happily reside now with my wife and three children.
About my practice
I specialize in the treatment of pediatric orthopedic conditions. I treat children with fractures, hip disorders, scoliosis, cerebral palsy, clubfoot, and a variety of other conditions. It is my goal to allow children to enjoy life to the fullest extent possible. I treat every child under my care the way I would want my own child to be treated. Being a parent myself, I can empathize with the difficulties that parents face with their children on a day-to-day basis, and how having a child hindered by orthopedic problems makes things even harder. Therefore, I feel that when I help a child I am helping the whole family get better.
How I thrive
I find tremendous fulfillment in spending time with my wife and children, whether simply staying at home or going out with them on a variety of different outings. In addition, I believe that regular exercise is important, not only for remaining physically fit, but also mentally fit, as it provides a valuable outlet for stress relief. I enjoy running.
