Where I practice
I am glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It is very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
I was born in Tehran, Iran in 1972. After the revolution, I was forced to move to Turkey, where I resided for four years prior to coming to the United States in 1989. I completed my undergraduate and graduate work at UCLA in biology/physiological sciences and cell, molecular, and developmental biology. After graduate school, I worked at the UCLA department of biology as a researcher until the start of medical school in 1999. I completed my internal medicine residency at Loma Linda University and joined Kaiser Permanente in 2007.
About my practice
I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I am also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for you when you are actively involved in taking care of your health.
How I thrive
My family life is my major priority. I enjoy family outings to Dodger games, I referee for my son’s little league baseball games, and I try to remain active with my local softball team. My wife, two sons, and I enjoy summer camping trips to Lake Tahoe and quiet family time at home.
