Where I practice
It is a pleasure to have an opportunity to tell you a little about myself and my practice as a family physician at Kaiser Permanente. I have been practicing medicine for over 15 years and believe it is a privilege to have such an important role in my patients' lives. I look forward to meeting you and partnering with you to meet your health care needs.
I wanted to be a doctor as a young girl. I was inspired by my mother, who was also a health care professional. I am originally from San Francisco, but I moved to Southern California to attend college at USC and found it difficult to leave the warm weather. I attended UC Irvine for medical school and then completed my residency at Kaiser Permanente in Fontana. I am married to a great guy and have a wonderful, energetic daughter.
About my practice
Providing preventive care and assisting my patients in controlling chronic disease is my primary goal. I enjoy practicing a wide scope of family medicine and providing care for patients of varying ages, from infants to the elderly. I consider it a privilege to be involved in my patients' lives so intimately. Because family is my number one priority, I currently work part time and have a shared practice with another physician. I feel fortunate to have found my physician partner because her practice style is so similar to mine.
How I thrive
Spending time with my family, immediate and extended, is one the ways I live well. We love to travel and see new places. Walking and using my home exercise equipment are the ways I try to stay fit and release stress. Two of my favorite ways to relax are having a massage and reading a good book.
