Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page! I am a family physician caring for patients ages 15 years and up. I have been with Southern California Permanente Medical Group since 2013, when I began my training at Kaiser Permanente Orange County.
My husband and I are originally from Northern California and moved to Southern California as he completed his film degree. We first moved to Long Beach and were drawn to this area immediately. We frequently take advantage of what Southern California has to offer, from enjoying nature to limited release movies in Los Angeles/Hollywood.
About my practice
I became a family medicine doctor for the longitudinal relationships I am able to develop and maintain with patients and their families. I enjoy caring for my patients’ birth control needs and am trained in long-acting reversible methods of contraception, including intrauterine devices (IUDs) and the implant (Nexplanon). To better serve my patients, I have pursued additional training in LGBTQ health care. I am also knowledgeable and sensitive to the needs of members with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It's very important that you feel comfortable with your physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
How I thrive
When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, cooking and baking, exercising (especially spin classes), movies/TV, and spending time with my husband and dog. I know the importance of balancing the mind, body, and spirit and encourage my patients to practice the same!
