Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients, and look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I moved from the East Coast to Southern California to pursue my fellowship in hematology and oncology and fell in love with the sunny weather and the people here, so I made Southern California my home for good. I come from a large and wonderful family, and now have a growing family of my own. I was born in South America, and I realized the importance of helping others who did not understand the medical system or could not speak English well enough to access medical care. I truly enjoy making myself useful and communicating with my Spanish-speaking patients.
About my practice
I believe that high-quality treatment of cancer requires a close partnership between patients, their families, and all the involved physicians in a multidisciplinary clinical care approach. My goals for my patients are to educate them in their illness and care, and to provide innovative treatment options to make a knowledgeable selection of the best treatment approach.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I love travelling, socializing with good friends, spending time with my family and being physically active as well as having a balance healthy diet.
