Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. It’s very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
I am originally from Egypt but grew up in Southern California. I received my undergraduate and medical school education at UCLA. I then went on to complete my internal medicine internship and residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. I did my cardiology and interventional cardiology training at Kaiser Permanente’s Los Angeles Medical Center. After my training, I moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, to join a private practice group for about four years. I returned to California as I felt it was best for my family and me. I feel fortunate to be a part of Kaiser Permanente.
I am an interventional cardiologist, which means I take care of people who have various types of heart problems. My primary role is to help place stents in the heart arteries to help improve blood flow to the heart muscle. I primarily see members in the hospital, and I work with other specialists, nurses, and support staff. I strive to provide the high-quality care and service to our members. I enjoy educating people regarding their well-being and partnering with them to better their health. I do not view cardiology as a profession but as a calling.
Besides practicing medicine, I am a sports fan and also enjoy grilling. I’m a father to the three best-looking kids you will ever see and husband to a beautiful and amazing wife. My religious faith and family are my top priority. My children, wife, and I love to go out together for outings and trips. I also like watching a good football or basketball game when time permits, especially if it involves UCLA!
