About Me
I grew up in Denver. I attended college in Boston and medical school in San Francisco before returning to Denver for training in internal medicine and gastroenterology at CU. I have 3 sons and a Norwich terrier. It has been my pleasure to work for Kaiser Permanente as a gastroenterologist for more than 25 years.
About my practice
I love being a gastroenterologist and taking care of patients with digestive disease issues. We have a great team at the Lone Tree GI clinic and take care of all aspects of digestive disease. I perform esophageal motility testing, which is an evaluation of the functioning of the esophagus. I perform all other endoscopic procedures as well. My practice is focused on adults age 17 or older. I believe the most important aspect of medical care is good communication between the patient and physician. Kaiser Permanente provides so many ways to keep the lines of communication open. Electronic medical records help me to see the big picture of your health, so I can make good use of our time together and answer your questions. I will work with you to make a treatment plan that meets your needs and lifestyle. My goal is to provide the most appropriate care, so you aren’t spending extra time or money to get the care you deserve.
How I thrive
I enjoy cycling and have participated in the Ride the Rockies bicycle ride every year. I particularly enjoy being with my children, who are now grown and out of the house.
