About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I hope this introduction helps you get to know me as a person and as a physician. I am grateful and fortunate to practice at Kaiser Permanente with incredible colleagues and members. I look forward to partnering with you and your family to improve and maintain your health.
Biography
I am originally from the Chicago area, and attended college at Northwestern University, graduating with a double major in economics and anthropology. I earned my medical degree at Vanderbilt University, and completed my internal medicine training at UCLA, and gastroenterology training at UC San Diego, with selection as chief gastroenterology fellow in my final year of training. I absolutely love practicing medicine. It is a remarkable privilege for me, and there is no other career I would want to have.
About my practice
We have a wonderful team of physicians and staff, all focused on delivering efficient and exemplary patient care. Preventive medicine and a healthy lifestyle are the two pillars for overall long-term wellness. As a board-certified gastroenterologist, I care for patients with digestive diseases, with a focus on prevention of colon cancer.
How I thrive
The most important thing in my life is my family, and being the best father and husband I can be. To maintain my own wellness, a healthy work-life balance is key. I enjoy playing basketball and golf, as well as spending time with my wife and son. I also love to travel around the world, and have visited 38 countries.
