About Me
After finishing Optometry school at the University of Houston, I practiced in Houston, TX, for six years. Having grown up in Iowa and then living in the south for 10 years, I decided to move to Colorado to participate in the many wonderful outdoor activities and lifestyle it has to offer. The timing was great and it's been one of the best decisions I've made. I joined Kaiser Permanente in February of 1992 and have been very pleased with my decision. The team approach to patient care provides an excellent level of care and I am proud to be a part of it.
About my practice
General Optometry is an excellent fit for me as I am able to work in all aspects of eye care. This great variety makes every day unique and interesting. I get to see patients from 5 to 105 years old and still fit contact lenses 10-20 % of the time, which is a part of patient care I especially enjoy. I strive to improve the vision of each and every patient I see.
How I thrive
My wife, our two teenage sons, and I enjoy an active lifestyle filled with sports, music, and many outdoor activities. Music is a big part of my life and I sing with a local semi-professional choir. Both of our sons participate in soccer year-round, so we spend much of our time cheering them on. Travel is also a big part of our lives.
