Biography
I was born in Vietnam and came to the United States in 1975. I have lived in Alabama but have spent the majority of my life in Southern California. Prior to becoming a physician, I was an electrical engineer in the aerospace industry. I attended medical school at Hahnemann Medical College of Pennsylvania and trained in internal medicine at Kaiser Permanente Oakland. I come from a large family. My sister is a physician and in part influenced my decision to quit engineering and go to medical school. It's been the best decision I've ever made.
