About Me

I spent my childhood working and playing on my family's farm, exploring nature, and using my imagination. I treasure all the natural beauty our world has to offer. I received my bachelor’s degree in film at Antioch College and my master’s in clinical social work at Indiana University. I am creative, open, and flexible in my approach to most things in life. My pronouns are she/her/hers.

About my practice

"We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.” —Maya Angelou
I feel a great sense of privilege that my patients put their trust in me to help them achieve their goals. I enjoy working with people of all ages and especially treasure my work with young adults and people experiencing dynamic change in their lives. I am firmly grounded in therapeutic methods of trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, and body psychotherapy to treat anxiety and depression, confronting and transforming shame, assertive communication, and boundary-setting skills.

  • Population specialties: all ages, young adults
  • Language capacity: English
  • Areas of focus: In addition to interventions for a range of mental health conditions including depression and anxiety, I have specific skills in trauma-informed care; cognitive behavioral therapy; body psychotherapy to treat anxiety and depression; confronting and transforming shame; assertive communication; and boundary-setting skills.

How I thrive

I am inspired by people who live their lives in a true and authentic nature. To me this means learning to listen to the needs of your body, your mind, and your spirit. I try to live this philosophy every day through hanging out with my dogs, doing yoga, hiking, skiing, kayaking, and making art with my friends.
