About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I am a board-certified vascular surgeon specializing in the treatment of peripheral arterial disease related to stroke, aortic aneurysms, circulatory problems of the legs, and dialysis access creation.
Biography
I grew up in rural Wisconsin where my father was a small-town physician and surgeon. I attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison for undergraduate studies and the Medical College of Wisconsin for medical school and surgical training. In 1998, I began my surgical career as an assistant professor of vascular surgery at UCLA. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2003, seeking an environment of medical collegiality and cohesive, high-quality health care for my patients.
About my practice
Our vascular group in Orange County provides comprehensive vascular care, including less invasive endovascular techniques of abdominal aortic endografting, arterial angioplasty/stenting, a full-service noninvasive vascular laboratory, wound care services and maintenance of dialysis access. I have a special interest in dialysis access surgery. I am privileged to work with a group of vascular surgical and interventional specialists who collaboratively strive to provide the highest level of service to our members with arterial disease.
How I thrive
I am an avid motorcycle enthusiast, country music listener, and football aficionado.
