About Me

Thank you for taking the time to view my Web page. It's a pleasure to introduce myself and tell you a little about my practice and myself. I have been at Kaiser Permanente Antelope Valley since August 2013 and consider myself very fortunate to be here.

Biography

I have moved around quite a bit in my life and therefore consider myself a multicultural person. I was born in Iran and grew up in Sweden. Since moving to the United States for high school, I have lived in several states. I knew I wanted to be a doctor since childhood, and OB/Gyn in particular came into clarity in medical school. I think this field offers the perfect mixture of surgery and primary care, emergency and scheduled procedures and daily exposure to the wonders of pregnancy and childbirth. Having been a Kaiser Permanente member for some time, I could not be happier to now work here. I completely agree with and love the Kaiser Permanente philosophy and style of providing a high level of care.

About my practice

My goal is to inform you to the best of my ability and have an open dialogue regarding your health and body. I am on your side and here for you, so please don't hesitate to ask any question or express any concerns. I believe everything is possible and that balance in life and health is achievable at any time and I will be happy to help you with that. I have a professional interest in minimally invasive surgery, international medicine, and family planning.

How I thrive

Nowadays, I try very hard to live a balanced life. I exercise regularly; I love spinning, elliptical workouts, the Bar Method, and being outdoors. I also read a lot, love watching movies, and have many other diverse interests. Family and friends are extremely important to me. I love experiencing new things, and one of my lifelong passions has been travelling.
