About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this opportunity to share some information with you about myself and my practice. I was born at a Kaiser Permanente hospital in Northern California; Kaiser Permanente as my family's primary health care provider when I was growing up. As a youth, I often went to the Kaiser Permanente optometry department to get my eyes checked and to get new glasses and contact lenses. I remember those visits as being an important part of growing up as a happy and healthy individual. Now, I am fortunate enough to be in a position to return that service to others.

Biography

I grew up in Sacramento and completed my undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley. During my studies, I worked as a laboratory assistant at the School of Optometry and developed an interest in the vision sciences. After also obtaining my doctorate degree from UCB, I spent some time in the Seattle-Tacoma area for my optometry residency training at the Veterans Administration Hospital there, before finally settling down in Southern California.

About my practice

My practice is located at the Kaiser Permanente San Dimas Medical Offices. We provide comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fittings, and manage eye conditions such as cataracts and glaucoma. The doctors and staff strive to give our patients the best-possible quality of care, service, and convenience. Our practice philosophy is based on a team-based model, so that your care can benefit from the many strengths of our highly skilled and experienced Kaiser Permanente team members.

How I thrive

I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. They keep me spirited and on my toes. Traveling to different places around the world is enjoyable, but also provides me with perspective and keeps me open minded. I try to eat healthy; and when time permits, I enjoy a round or two on the golf course.
