About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I hope you will find useful information here that will allow you to get to know me better.

Biography

I was born in Argentina and moved with my family to the United States at age 5. I am very fortunate because my parents insisted on speaking only Spanish in the home, which has allowed me to be fluent in both Spanish and English. As a child, I translated what the doctor said to my mother. I am thrilled that I can communicate directly with my patients in Spanish. I am married and have 3 children, 1 of whom has special health needs. My experience as a parent of a chronically ill child has made me especially sensitive to the needs and issues of families dealing with their sick children. I welcome all forms of diversity including children and their parents from the LGBTQ community.

About my practice

Most children who come to see their pediatrician are generally well, and many of the issues faced by children are emotional or behavioral. I particularly enjoy the opportunity to work together with parents to develop useful strategies to help children become happy and successful adults.

How I thrive

Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also enjoy reading and hiking.
