About Me
Welcome. My name is Dr. Justin Kane. I work in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Hand Surgery, and I look forward to the opportunity to exceed your expectations. I aim to comfort, educate, and serve all of my patients.
Biography
I’m originally from Southern California. I was away during my high school and university years, but I returned for medical school at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. I also trained at Los Angeles County Medical Center, which provided a first-rate experience in all areas of medicine. I stayed to complete six years of a combined general surgery and plastic surgery residency. During that time, I became interested in hand and microsurgery. I finished my training at Stanford University with a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery. Doctoring allows me the perfect balance of service, mental challenge, and technical precision.
About my practice
My practice is based upon the philosophy of treating anyone and everyone as if they were family. I take my time to guide patients through their consultation, treatment options, and recovery. My particular interests include eyelid surgery, facial reanimation (for Bell’s palsy, congenital, or trauma), breast reconstruction, aesthetic surgery and body contouring, hand trauma surgery, lower extremity reconstruction, and wound care, among others.
How I thrive
I enjoy surfing, cycling, and trail running. Most importantly, I enjoy spending time with my wife, daughters, and dog.
