About Me
Colorado has been my home for most of my life and I am very thankful to practice close to where I grew up and where my family still lives. I attended Cherry Creek High School and then left Colorado briefly to study at Rice University in Houston for my undergraduate degree. I returned home for medical school at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and for residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Saint Joseph Hospital. It is a great privilege for me to practice in the community that I live in and I feel very connected to the patients at the Arapahoe Medical Offices.
About my practice
As an OB-GYN provider, I am passionate about providing comprehensive health care to women at all stages of their lives. I strive to engage patients in a dialogue about their health and try to make health care decisions along with patients and not just for them. I hope to empower patients to make health care decisions that are uniquely suited to them by offering information, education and guidance. I have special interests in adolescent health care, infertility care, and post-menopausal care including urinary incontinence and hormone replacement. I am fluent in Spanish and welcome Spanish-speaking patients.
How I thrive
I thrive by spending time with friends and family. My husband and I live close to my parents, who we see daily and who help us a great deal with our elementary school-aged sons. Our family enjoys skiing, camping and being outside in Colorado!
