About Me

I'm glad to have this opportunity to share a little about myself.

Biography

I'm a Southern California native with degrees in both Spanish and medicine. I love neurology because the brain is just inherently fascinating. I also enjoy learning about people and their lives. I completed my fellowship at UCLA in clinical neurophysiology with subspecialty training in epilepsy and intraoperative monitoring.

About my practice

I enjoy teaching and have an interest in improving global health. My wife and I have visited Thailand, Nigeria, El Salvador, Mexico, and China for short-term medical projects, and we had a blast teaching neurology and internal medicine in Hangzhou, China in 2011.

How I thrive

I think it's important to spend time with family, exercise, and enjoy the simple things in life. I'm an avid foodie who loves to travel, explore other languages and cultures, and play with our two young children.
