About Me

Originally from India, I was born in a city called Hyderabad, which is almost the same size as New York City. I moved to the U.S. to pursue higher education after graduating from medical school. After my residency in internal medicine at Albert Einstein School of Medicine St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, I practiced internal medicine for 4 years and then completed my oncology and hematology fellowship in St. Louis, Missouri. I moved to the beautiful state of Colorado to be part of the team of exceptional oncologists at Kaiser Permanente. I was honored to be recognized as a 5280 Magazine Top Doctor in 2020.

About my practice

As an oncologist, it is very rewarding to take care of my patients in the most difficult times of their lives. I believe in open communication and shared decision-making. I empower patients with evidence-based medicine and the latest advances in oncology research, including participation in clinical trials, to help them make the best decision for their road to recovery.

I strongly believe that each patient is unique. Spending time listening to their needs helps me develop a personalized treatment plan. I also believe in taking care of patients in a holistic way, placing the greatest focus on quality of life along with valuing their emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs. I strive to achieve this with the help of my great team here at Kaiser Permanente.

I have expertise in treating all types of cancers, with special interests in breast, colon and gynecologic cancers and blood disorders like multiple myeloma, lymphoma and benign hematology.

How I thrive

I thrive with the amazing support of my husband and 2 boys. I enjoy cooking and gardening, which also help me relax. Living in such an outdoorsy environment, I enjoy hiking and spending time watching beautiful sunsets.
