About Me
Raised in New Jersey and North Carolina, I attended college here in Colorado, then moved around the United States for my medical training. In 2008, I returned to practice medicine in Colorado with my wife and 2 children. We moved to Colorado to enjoy the outdoors and a great lifestyle that includes running and biking. I am very fortunate to have turned my passions into a career as a surgeon helping others recover from their injuries. I was honored to be recognized as a 5280 Magazine Top Doctor in 2019.
About my practice
As a member of the Orthopedics department at the Rock Creek Medical Offices, I spend half of my clinical practice taking care of patients in the Acute Orthopedic Clinic. I treat injuries of the upper and lower extremities, with a concentration on fractures around the shoulder. The other half of my practice focuses on sports medicine, including shoulder replacement surgery, as well as knee and shoulder arthroscopy. I look forward to seeing my patients and enjoy learning about you. Electronic medical records help me to see the big picture of your health, so I can make good use of our time together and answer your questions.
How I thrive
Physical well-being is a personal goal for me, as well as a goal that I am trying to help each of my patients achieve. I have found that a lifestyle that includes exercise and a healthy diet is not only good for the body, but it brings a positive influence to all other parts of a person's life, including how a person feels and what they can achieve.
