About Me
I am originally from a small town on the western slope of Colorado. After graduating from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver and completing my family medicine residency in Boise, Idaho, I returned to Colorado to practice medicine. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente in November 2017, I worked as an inpatient hospitalist for two years.
About my practice
I enjoy empowering patients in their own health goals, and work as a partner to help them understand and access modern medicine to best meet their needs. I view wellness as a combination of mental and physical health, and encourage patients to address their concerns with lifestyle changes as well as modern medicine. I value open communication and make efforts to listen, educate, and focus on prevention and wellness, as well as treat illness.
How I thrive
I am grateful to live in such a beautiful state. I enjoy being active outside, and am often hiking, camping, or skiing. I like to travel and have studied Spanish and taught health education in Central America.
