About Me
I am originally from Michigan, then took a detour to California then ended up finishing my training back in the Midwest. My residency was with Michigan State and my pediatric fellowship was in Detroit at the Children's Hospital of Michigan. I have always loved the Northwest and I am so happy to finally call Oregon home. I am so blessed to do what I love everyday so it never feels like work!
About my practice
I am very humbled by the field of medicine and I feel so privileged to be able to care for others during a vulnerable experience such as surgery. I am a patient advocate and strive to provide the safest, most comforting atmosphere possible. It is important to me that my patients are treated with compassion, respect and dignity; therefore, I treat them as I would my own family. I have advanced training in pediatric anesthesiology because I am passionate about neonatal and pediatric care, but I am extremely happy taking care of adults as well. I am honored to be a part of the NW team and surround myself with such an amazing team that really have an enthusiasm for medicine, health, and patient care.
How I thrive
The outdoors make me thrive! I love a simple cup of coffee sitting on the beach while enjoying the beautiful northwest surroundings. I am recharged by time with my family, my faith, and my two rescue dogs. I am very active and enjoy running, skiing, kayaking, hiking and travel. I absolutely love to cook and find myself at the wonderful farmer's markets around town buying what is in season and creating new recipes!
