About Me
I am a Topeka, Kansas, native, and graduated from the Wichita State University PA program in 1991. I was born to be a PA! I love caring for patients and getting to know them and their family members. My husband is a college basketball coach. Our children have followed in our footsteps: my daughter is currently in PA school, and my son is a basketball coach.
About my practice
I have extensive experience in pediatrics and orthopedics with a specialty in hand/upper extremity. I enjoy evaluating musculoskeletal pain, injuries, and other orthopedic issues. I don’t like typing while talking with a patient; patients deserve that face-to-face interaction. I like to sit down, review things with the patient and answer any questions they may so that they can leave understanding the issue and treatment options.
How I thrive
I love baking and cooking, especially for my husband’s basketball team. It makes me happy to care for others and make them feel better. I take cooking classes as well.
