About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. At Kaiser Permanente, I am surrounded by many wonderful colleagues and patients, and I'm looking forward to caring for your health.
Biography
I was born in Bangkok, Thailand. From a young age, my mother taught me the importance of education and service to others. With these values in mind and following the footsteps of my grandfather and brother, I decided to pursue a career in medicine. After high school, I came to the United States and attended colleges and medical school along with residency training in Southern California. I also worked for the Loma Linda Faculty Medical Group before joining Kaiser Permanente in 1989. My wife and I have three children. We all love to volunteer in various community activities: churches, libraries, hospitals, schools, health fairs, international missions, and sports events. Recognizing the importance of exercise, I spend a considerable amount of time promoting and helping many people in the sport of running and triathlons.
About my practice
Being a doctor gives me the very special privilege to help patients with their physical, mental, and in some cases spiritual needs. My staff and colleagues in the clinic and at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center work as a team to provide comprehensive health care based on current medical evidence. I firmly believe in preventive care and healthy lifestyle, along with the use of advanced diagnostic tests and treatments. I am happy to see that this organization shares the same beliefs and is leading the way to becoming one of the nation's best in preventive care systems. Practicing for over 20 years, I strive to treat each patient individually as I would my own family.
How I thrive
I enjoy outdoor activities, such as running, hiking, biking, skiing, and swimming. Sharing and helping others enjoy these same activities is one of my passions. Through these activities, I have made many friends and have completed several endurance sports events, including over 15 marathons and five Ironman Triathlons. I have climbed to the summit of Mt. Whitney three times, and once I did the 34-mile Cactus-2-Cloud hike from Palm Springs up to San Jacinto peak and back down. Most recently, I participated in the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Triathlon with several of my friends, colleagues, and patients. I invite you to participate in your local events, such as a 5K walk or run. You will be surprised at how much you can do and enjoy the benefits of exercise. Please say hello to me if we meet, whether on the hiking trail, on the road, at the gym, or in the swimming pool.
