About Me

I was born and raised in Lihue, Kauai. I am happily married to my wonderful husband and we have two beautiful children.

About my practice

I decided to pursue a career in medicine because I wanted to use my skills to improve the lives of others in the community and have always enjoyed social interaction with many different people. As a family medicine physician, I enjoy treating the entire family including newborns, parents and grandparents. I love that the physicians and medical staff within the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group work as a team to provide the best care possible for our members. As a part of the team, I believe in treating all of my patients equally regardless of their education, social or financial background. I also strive to listen closely to my patients and am thrilled when we make a connection.

How I thrive

I enjoy spending time with my family, especially play time with my kids. I enjoy hiking, love to travel and read a wide variety of books on interesting subjects outside of medicine.
