About Me
I’m originally from the Midwest but relocated to the Denver area in 1984 to complete my pediatric residency at The Children's Hospital. I knew I wanted to become a doctor since I was 11 years old, and during medical school I decided pediatrics was a great fit for me. I've been a general pediatrician with Kaiser Permanente since 1988! Since 2015, I have specialized in Developmental Pediatrics at the Hidden Lake Medical Offices. My husband and I have been together for 36 years and we have really enjoyed living in the Denver metro area and now in the foothills.
About my practice
I put a high priority on listening carefully to families in order to fully understand the range of concerns they bring to the office visit. I have strong interests in working with families whose children have various neuro-developmental challenges, such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning difficulties and genetic syndromes. I enjoy seeing patients for individual consultation but also in conjunction with our multidisciplinary team in the Developmental Pediatrics and Autism Clinic.
How I thrive
We love the natural beauty of our state and enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, birding, biking, and of course, skiing. I am also an avid singer and have been a member of the Ars Nova Singers for the past 10 years.
