Biography
My name is Bernard Buchanan, and I am a consultation-liaison psychiatrist at Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center. I completed my undergraduate studies at UC Irvine. After earning my medical degree at Penn State University, I completed a psychiatry residency at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City.
About my practice
I provide psychiatric consultations to the Emergency Department and in hospital medical-surgical settings.
How I thrive
Maintaining a healthy balance in life with family and friends is very important to me. To rest and recharge, I enjoy meditation, regular exercise, and reading.
