About Me

I was born and raised on Maui. While attending school to become a Physician Assistant, I found my passion in the "hands on" experience of surgery.

About my practice

I believe in taking a team approach to practicing medicine. I care for each of my patients as a whole person, and believe in the importance of education. While much of my work involves treating patients surgically, I also recognize the importance of the cultural and spiritual aspects of healing. I have worked for Kaiser Permanente for 12 years. To stay current with the latest developments in my field, I travel to conferences and read medical journals. I am a board member of the Pacific Cancer Foundation .

How I thrive

I am blessed to have two active young sons and extended family here on Maui. I thrive on the rewards of caring for my patients, and appreciate the cultural diversity of the Hawaiian islands. I enjoy running outdoors, ocean activities, and traveling. I hope to soon participate in medical missions around the world to serve indigent and underserved populations.
