About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I am pleased to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. It is important that you feel comfortable and confident in the team that will provide care for you throughout your pregnancy. Pregnancy is one of the most important parts of life and our goal is to provide you with comprehensive care of the highest quality during this time.
Biography
Although I am originally from Arizona, I have lived in Southern California for over 10 years. I first moved to Los Angeles to attend medical school at UCLA. After graduation, I stayed in sunny California to complete my residency in obstetrics and gynecology and fellowship in perinatology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. I am married to a fellow perinatologist and we live in Encino with my two stepsons. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2010 and currently split my time between the Panorama City and Antelope Valley medical centers.
About my practice
I collaborate closely with an excellent team of general obstetrician/gynecologists, genetic counselors, midwives, and nurse practitioners to provide comprehensive obstetrical care. As a perinatologist (also called a maternal fetal medicine specialist), my focus is on providing care for women with high-risk pregnancies. This can include women with preexisting medical conditions (such as diabetes or hypertension), obstetrical problems (such as multiple gestation or preterm labor), or fetal problems. I also provide high-quality obstetrical ultrasound services and prenatal diagnosis (amniocentesis).
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I strive for a balance by spending most of my free time with my family. We enjoy traveling and many outdoor activities together. In addition, I enjoy reading, playing with my two dogs, and spending time with friends.
