About Me

Welcome to my Web page. Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself, and share a bit about my cardiology practice. I find tremendous enjoyment in practicing medicine because it gives me an opportunity me to make a significant positive difference in peoples’ lives while being personally intellectually stimulated and challenged.

Biography

My family moved to California when I was six months old, which essentially makes me a native Californian. I have three uncles and an aunt who are physicians, which had an influence on choosing to pursue medicine. I completed my undergraduate education at California State University, Fullerton, and attended medical school at Boston University. I did my internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the UCLA-affiliated program at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach. I am board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology.

About my practice

My work philosophy is to provide patient care based on the most current evidence-based practices in internal medicine and cardiology, and I strive to be certain I understand my patients’ needs. Among my colleagues, we encourage a strong sense of teamwork supported by good communication.

How I thrive

For my own wellness, I thrive by eating a balanced diet and regularly doing high-level aerobic exercise. My family is the center of my life. I have a lovely wife, two wonderful children, and an Australian shepherd. We enjoy traveling both near and far, snow skiing, mountain biking, surfing, and boogie boarding.
