About Me

Hi, welcome to my Web page. I feel fortunate to be a Kaiser Permanente physician in Rancho Cucamonga. It is important for members to feel comfortable with their primary care physician, and I hope this page will help you get to know me.

Biography

I was born in Hong Kong and moved to San Francisco when I was ten. I earned my undergraduate degree at UC Davis where I was given the opportunity to volunteer at a children’s home in Japan and study abroad in Keio University for a year. Through my experience of being ill in a foreign country, I was inspired to and later volunteered at Paul Hom Asian Clinic as a Cantonese interpreter for the underserved immigrants in Sacramento. This experience precipitated my appreciation for primary care, which led to my pursuit in medicine at St. George’s University in Grenada, where I earned my medical degree. I completed my family medicine residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where I had the pleasure of serving as associate chief.

About my practice

I strongly believe in preventive medicine and am passionate about healthy eating and exercise. I am fortunate that primary care gives me the opportunity to see my members as a whole and not just the disease. I love teaching and I look forward to become a partner in your own health care.

How I thrive

I thrive through the moments I spend with my family and friends. They are my top priority and I'm always learning from those around me. I enjoy trying out new recipes, yoga, and traveling.
