About Me

Hi, my name is Rafael A. Rosado-Cosme and I am a board certified family physician. I am currently assigned to the Kaiser Permanente Santa Clarita Medical Offices Urgent Care Clinic.

Biography

I was born on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, and my family moved to New Jersey in my infant years. My family moved to Bell Gardens, California in the 1960s. I grew up there and graduated from Bell Gardens High School. My choice of entering the medical field was partly influenced by my own family doctor growing up and my wonderful mother who taught me the importance of serving the needs of others.

About my practice

Urgent care medicine concentrates on the evaluation and treatment of acutely arising conditions in all age groups. Urgent care specialists often first diagnose chronic conditions, generally with referrals to primary care physicians. We have a great team of nurses and physicians who work together to bring appropriate, high-quality care at the right time for the right person under the right conditions.

How I thrive

I thrive by eating healthy, exercising on most days of the week, and keeping a healthy balance between work and family. I enjoy playing with my Rottweiler and poodle, sharing countless memories with my children and grandchildren, and most of all spending quality time with my wonderful wife.
