About Me
Hello! Thank you for visiting my Web page. I am a board-certified internal medicine doctor. I've been practicing at Kaiser Permanente for over 10 years.
Biography
I was born in New York City, but grew up in South Carolina. My ethnic background is Chinese. My father is also a physician. I attended medical school at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. I chose to become a physician because I enjoy helping people.
About my practice
I’ll always do my best to help you during our appointments together. I try to answer messages as quickly as possible. I work in the hospital for one week each month. As a result, it may take longer to make an appointment with me. However, I’ll do my best to get you in as soon as possible. I have a great medical assistant, and we make an excellent team! If your lab work is normal, then I usually don't contact you unless requested. If your lab work is abnormal, then I’ll call you or write you a letter. Most of my members have to wait on average 15–30 minutes in the waiting room before they are seen. If you do not like to wait, please schedule the 8:30 a.m. or the 1:30 p.m. appointment slot. If you decide to choose an appointment after 11 a.m. or after 4 p.m., then bring something to read. I'm a stickler for health screenings such as colon cancer screening, breast cancer screening and cervical cancer screening.
How I thrive
I think laughter is the best medicine and I try to practice this myself. I enjoy jogging and going to the gym. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family.
