About Me
I'm the child of immigrants from New Jersey (still have the accent) and received my medical training in Dallas, Texas (still wear bolo ties). I worked with Kaiser Permanente in Atlanta for many years before moving to the Northwest region. I married my college girlfriend, and we have no children but instead have had a long succession of rescue dogs from the pound. Medicine offers a chance to help others—it makes me happy to help someone else feel better.
About my practice
I practice member-centered care. My members are my customers, and I try to provide the best customer service that I can. I am LGBTQ friendly—the various shapes, colors, and customs of people add infinite variety and pleasure to the world. I love Kaiser Permanente—it provides solid clinical guidelines and tools to help me do my best for every member.
How I thrive
My main relaxation is reading: give me a good book and a comfortable chair anytime. Of course, the dog demands walking, the garden demands pruning, and my sweet wife demands her fair share of attention, but eventually I'll get back to reading—happily.
