About Me

Thank you for visiting my webpage and for being a member of the Kaiser family.

Biography

I grew up in Augusta, GA - where the big golf tournament known as The Masters takes place. I finished my undergraduate training at Augusta State University, and then completed medical school at Medical College of Georgia. My internship was at University of Hawaii in Honolulu, and I completed my ophthalmology residency training at University of Texas in Galveston and Houston. After that I moved to Los Angeles to complete my retina fellowship at UCLA. After that I joined the ophthalmology family at the San Diego Kaiser Permanente Medical Center.

About my practice

I am a retina specialist and my main goal is to treat my patients for their retinal conditions so they can have the best possible outcomes and enjoy a better quality of life. Retinal diseases are complicated and challenging to treat, however, using the most recent and advanced research data and the certified treatments available, these challenges can be managed. I love what I do and I love seeing the smile on my patients faces when they obtain better vision and good outcomes.

How I thrive

I thrive by trying to maintain a healthy balance between being an ophthalmologist and a member of my family. I love spending time with my family, and I enjoy exercising and working with the new technologies in computers.
